hi everyone,
i'm a third year from ontario applying to U of M for the first time this fall. i've got a couple of questions concerning the AGPA. first of all, does anyone know how percentage marks are converted into their 4.5 system? is (A+) 90+ = 4.5, (A) 85-89 = 4.0 (A-) 80-84 = 3.7 etc? also, i understand they drop your worst courses out of the calculation provided that you've finished atleast 90 hours. now, is that 90 hours at the time of application (fall 2002) or 90 hours prior to enrolling (summer 2003)? thanks for the help |

Hi balazo,
I haven't really figured out the U of M's calculations, but I'm pretty sure that a 4.0 = 80-89 = A. Hopefully one of the current meds or U of M undergrads can help you a little more. Also, if you want to give the U of M a call, medical admissions can be reached at (204) 789-3499. |
