I feel like I'm ready for an exam that is in a week, but I don't want to just drop everything and move on to another course because I'm scared that some things will just slip my mind.
Usually I just go through my notes briefly whenever I can to constantly remind myself, but I'm just wondering how long we actually retain information clearly for? |

I have been up for last 11 hours and being studying for 8 hours (covered 4 courses chap or two for each) but what always happens with is when my head starts heating up as my body temperature is normal and it is not a headache. I always get this when I study a lot with no rest and I do feel information is going in as I close my eyes and recall what I just learned.
So what is this, any1 has a similar experience? |

Sleep on my notes/books, so it uploads into my brain as I sleep overnight.
But seriously, it depends how interesting it is. Anything to do with the human body...memorize large amounts of info just by reading quickly once. Ecology, plants, chemistry, other bullcrap.... gotta read several times to remember it. |

I meant to say, my head, inside of it feels hotter and it gives me that temperature sensation but it is not a headache. Cuz I don't feel pain with it.

Yeah, but assuming that you know the material well and have consolidated your knowledge a number of times... how long until you forget it?
