Default Prepaid Envelopes

What is the recommended way of getting referees to send in their letters?

For all of my referees, I am thinking of providing prepaid, pre-addressed envelopes from Canada Post once they are ready. This way, I can track the documents and also save them some trouble.

HOWEVER - OMSAS states somewhere that they would prefer regular post and regular envelopes to save their staff the hassle of dealing with Xpresspost envelopes. Prepaid envelopes are by default Xpresspost or PriorityMail.

Any advice?

i had the same question as well - i was thinking of making them myself and just pre-stamp and pre-address them - didn't know about the Xpresspost option.

Personally speaking last year I just let my referees mail the letters themselves. I don't think you need Expresspost for that. I mean if you are worried you can just ask them to give you the letter and send it via registered mail, which you can track online.
