Default When are you applying?

I mean in your personal life timeline. Aka, are most people jumping on board and applying from 3rd year... waiting for 4th year... or after completing undergrad studies?

I'll probably do 4th year and take my time. It's much harder to get in during your 3rd year to be completely honost. 4th year will be more realistic for me.

I'm applying in 4th yr. Applying in my 3rd yr was unrealistic since I had very few ECs, didn't meet Ottawa cut off and had no MCAT.
But it's good to apply in 3rd yr. Some people get in and even if you don't, the experience is a definite plus.

Agreed.

I applied (and got accepted) this year after having completed my undergrad and masters, and done 2 years of PhD all in computer science. I may be older, but I needed those extra years in my sport to grow and to really figure out what I wanted. Life experience is priceless.

I Figured it would be a waste to apply with~3.9ish gpa after 2 years and minimal ecs. Plus, i still can't find 3 references so i'm aiming of getting those and some more ecs than apply after 3rd. If i had 3 refs i would probably apply just for the experience.
