Default Acupuncture and Rehab Sciences

Does anyone know off hand the admission requirements for acupuncture schools in Canada? I know that a lot of PTs do it. What are some reputable schools, how is it regulated, etc?

My boyfriend who graduated from McMaster Physiotherapy took a medical acupuncture program at McMaster and highly recommended it. He is now offering acupuncture on top of his regular physio practice and seems quite happy with it. I think this particular program that he took only accepts regulated health care professionals or professional students in their final year. Sorry I don't know the specific admission requires off hand but i know when my boyfriend took the course he was eligible for an earlybird rate so you may want to look into it.

Oh and apparently there are 2 programs at McMaster. The one he took was the evidence-based approach one with Dr. Trinh. I am not sure how that program compares to the other programs offered in Canada but he said he did his research and this one was the most suitable for him.

Hope this helps =D
