Bleh. Mine are all in the arts, no prerequisites, nothing even applied towards my degree or major. Plus they're FOUR YEARS OLD. What the hell, Alberta?

How did they know? Did you say you took AP courses in high school?

Yeah, well actually it does kind of show on my transcript, it says something like:

College Board AP
Attempted credit hour 0
Passed hours 0
Earned hours 0

But my friend, who didn't take any AP exams, doesn't have that on his transcript, so I'm assuming they'll know I took a test and just didn't get credit for it. I took it on a whim, but I wouldn't have done so if I knew I would get asked for transcripts that don't count for anything.

Also, is there any other way to get the AP transcripts sent than phoning them? I have no way of avoiding stupidly high long distance charges. Is there any way I can order them online?

You can fax it if they've been archived, but I believe you have to use the phone system if they're less than 4 years old.

There are a few ways to avoid long distance...

1) Gmail offers calling to US/Canada that would work as long as you have a mic on your computer

2) http://icall.com/free-phone-calls/... same thing, mic on your computer

3) Just get a $5 phone card.

Okay, thanks. Too bad they don't just have something simple and easy, like the MCAT Thx system, especially since I doubt they'll do any more than glace at the thing anyway.

You have until Nov 1 anyway don't you?

I requested mine only yesterday. You could have paid $25 rush if you were very worried.
That may be incorrect. I did IB, never claimed the prerequisites but they still wanted my IB transcripts (phone confirmation). I have no idea how strict they are on the requirement.

Ugh, this really sucks, I can't get the score report without my AP number, and I don't think they have my social insurance number on file. Customer service is out, and I don't finish class until later in the afternoon tomorrow.

Although, thanks for letting me know about that Gmail phone, HBP, it's saving me a ton of money!

Yeah, I luckily had my last AP score report in my personal documents folder with my passport and such. Good thing I'm so anal.
I'm sooooo stressed it's not going to get there in time, though.

Question,

we dont need to send in any transcripts if we did all of our schooling (i.e. university courses) in Alberta right?

I believe they'll request it automatically.
