Hey guys
I want to ask how bad an incomplete in 4A is on my transcript? I have an exam that I deferred and I might have to write the exam next fall when the course is offered again but I'm not sure about this, still have to check.... I can graduated after next term since I have enough credits and that course isn't a prereq but I was wondering how admissions would look at that incomplete? I can always finish the course in Fall of next year but then I have to hand in my intent to graduate by Feb so I won't know if I got into dental or not by then... Any advice? . If it is during the standard part of the year you might have to do the same sort of thing and perhaps have your school provide documentation to back you up. If it is an incomplete for a good reason (which is of course quite likely) in the end I think you will be fine, but there is a bit of tap dancing ![]()

I am in a similar predicament. I am enrolled in a two semester course and will be writing my exam tomorrow, however I plan to drop out of the winter semester which will put a "CTN" (stands for continuing) on my transcript in place of a grade. Since a grade can only be applied once the second half of the semester is completed I was thinking of redoing the entire course in summer school so that it would not affect my OMSAS GPA calculation.
What do you think med schools will think of this scenario? Will they care, since after all I will have completed the course anyway? |

I don't have any advice on your situation but maybe you should see an ugrad advisor about that or maybe be like rmorelan and get the university to back you up? Best of luck |
