I have a 7 in VR which is killing me.
Australia? Ireland? Caribbean? What are my chances? |

You should try asking at Valuemd.com
Your MCAT is a bit low but I think most of the regions you described will forgive that with your decent GPA. Also depending on the layout of your GPA, you might want to just rewrite the MCAT and try again in Canada. |

With those stats you'd have no problems getting into med schools in all those regions you mentioned. You'd also be competitive for osteopathic schools in the states. As mentioned by leviathan, if you have two good years (>3.75) I'd suggest rewriting the MCAT and try for Canada.

if your 3.97 was earned during your last year why not go back and do a special year for western, queens and dal. I think it might be a worthwhile investment as med tuition in Canada is more affordable than other international med.
good luck, ________ MAZDASPEED3 HISTORY Last edited by 123coco : 03-12-2011 at 07:19 PM. |

That should be good enough for Ireland/Aus/Caribbean.

Thanks for the response. I'm planning on applying for Ireland but I wasn't sure if I should bother. Hopefully I'm lucky :P. I'm still planning on taking the MCAT again, just in case
