Default Electives for Paeds

Does anyone have any specific advice/recommendations for electives to better prepare me for a residency program in paeds?

I already volunteer in many kid-oriented positions.

Generally, electives in pediatrics (community and subspecialty pediatrics) + couple of non-pediatrics electives (e.g. ob/gyn, internal medicine, radiology, child psych, etc.).

In particular, do electives in places you want to train. Some subspecialty electives include: Neonatal, cardiology, infectious disease, etc. etc.
