Default Palliative Care

Hey--any ideas on how to go about getting training in palliative care? Are there fellowships in this area?
Thanks!

Yes, there are fellowships in palliative care. For example, see http://www.cspcp.ca/english/education.php

You can do 1 year after family med. But there are no exams or anything to become a "certified" palliative care physician. So if that is your interest you could probably build a little niche for yourself coming from various routes.

I believe at some point I had heard discussion about developing an exam in the future. However, as it stands there is none.
