Default nserc usra conditions

hey guys I keep hearing from other ppl with NSERC USRA's about getting two weeks off during the 16 week contract...is this the same for everyone or what? ... just today i met a girl who said shes leaving for 3 weeks in july and her supervisior gave her 1 week off on the additional 2 week nserc time

sorry if thats tough to understand lol

Gosh,
I wish that were true!.Im unsure. But I will soon ask my supervisor, since I could definitely use the time off!

lol yeah same two week off before the mcat would be a welcomed break

Officially, there is no time off and everyone is supposed to work 16 weeks in a row. That is one of the NSERC conditions.

That having been said, most people like to "bend" the NSERC conditions and take a week or 2 off. It all depends on the supervisor.

Mine follows the rules, so I don't get anytime off...
