Hello everyone,
This is probably a stupid question, but I have just finished my 3rd year of undergrad and am thinking about applying this cycle. Would this make me a third year applicant or a 4th (as by the time I started med school I would have my degree). Secondly, if I were to go to UBC for graduate work (I'm in Alberta now) after my undergrad and then applied to medical school following that, where would my official residence be. Would I be considered a BC student or an AB student. Thanks for any help! S0 |

You're a 4th year applicant.
Each University has different requirements for the # of years spent living in the province to be considered a resident. Generally it's 2-3. You'd still be considered an Alberta resident and if you live in BC for that allocated period of time, you'd be considered an IP applicant at both schools. |
