Irish Accepted/Rejected/Waitlisted 2008

I haven't heard a word from UCD or UCC yet. But I found out yesterday I was accepted at Trinity. pretty happy, since up till then I was convinced ABP didn't bother to send over my app to Ireland...

I was accepted to Trinity, but the costs just seem so astronomical!! Is anyone else waiting to hear from Canadian schools and unsure of what to do?!

I haven't received my package yet! It was fedex'd two days ago, but i have yet to receive it. So i haven't seen the actual costs, but figured it would be out of this world. I am still waiting on Canada too. Depending on how much the deposit is, i likely won't be putting it down for trinity...
If things don't work out in Canada I will likely be heading to Saba.

I found out by e-mail. There was a charge on my visa for $30 from ABP, so i e-mailed them to ask about it, and they told me it was an acceptance from Trinity. I JUST found out it was shipped to my old place in newfoundland, not where i live now in NS.fedex just told me i won't get the package before tuesday now.

Yes...the deposit is extremely expensive (4000 Euros) and has to be in before hearing from Canadian schools... A very difficult decision!

Considering I am waiting on Canadian schools maybe I should be happy I haven't heard from Ireland, that deposit looks like a pain in the butt if you interviewed here at home.

Just wondering if anyone else is going CRAZY waiting to hear back from IReland!!! I applied to three schools (Cork, Galway and Dublin) and I still haven't heard anything from either of them. I emailed atlantic Bridge late last month and got the usual 'be patient' email. I tried callign the schools too but they wouldn't tell me anything either. Its just so hard to stay patient especially as April is quickly flying by. Has anyone been able to get anything out of anyone in the way of news??? Keep us all posted!!!

I received acceptance packages from both UCD and Trinity this week/late last week. I'll be rejecting both offers so that will make some room for another Canadian! Hope that helps out!
