The situation
Okay, here goes nothing.
Essentially my stats: Gpa 3.8ish Mcat: 12,13,12 S Volunteering: hospital, TDC and several clinical scenarios and one day events. EC's: loads of leadership and team work positions. currently a 3rd year student at UT, and want to apply for the MD/PhD project. I have been doing research for the same lab now for about 2 years ( is it a bad thing that I stuck it out with one PI?) I have 2 first author papers published. Hopefully another 2 by the end of this year. Main interest in research is Neurosurgery and Neurooncology ( pathological side). But the problem with all this now, is that I am an international student yes I know my chances are reduced by 75%, yes I know we have 4 schools in total that would take international students..but my question is, am I competitive enough for the MD/PhD program? I mean the reason why I don't have a stellar 4.0 is because I didn't choose bird courses nor did I choose an easy specialist . It so happens that my life is devoted to other things than drilling my books 24/7. I am sorry for my 3.8 Gpa ( not UT modified) but hey that's all it is now  so I want to know if there are any MD/PhD applicants and what are their stats, and any international students with the same issue as I? ( btw I am rather a special case, cause i am an international student with Canadian education ..any better?) Oh also, HIIIIIII! this is literally my first post, you will probably see me here more often..  going crazy during the summer application processes of course. First off, see if MD/PhD is also open to international students, because it might not be. Other than that, I can't give you much advice, since I am a permanent resident myself.

McGill accepts ~22 international students. Their MD-PhD program is open to ALL types of applicants (including international student and they didn't write any preferences either). Read their faculty website. They got a load of info on it including statistics. I can't say much about your situation though. I'm still in high school
. Got a enjoy having a life before "drilling my books" in pre-med ... Stirling

Also another question, is it good to demonstrate attachment and continuous work in one lab during your undergraduate years ( with publications) or several labs mroe experience but no publications?

so gpa and mcat wise, i think you're great... (assuming that 3.8 will get some sort of a bump from the formula) sounds like you've got ecs, and lots of research in one place can be just as good if not better than research in multiple places.... UofT is more likely to look at everything thoroughly, so the fact that working at 4 labs LOOKS more impressive at first glance, staying at one and getting publications, is MORE impressive to schools who will look at your experience/contributions to the lab. I'm not really speaking from experience though... i'm not going for md/phd nor an international.
