Questions about DAT studying material + stuff

why do people use multiple studying books?
for example, ppl use blue kaplan book, dat destroyer, etc.?
i thought one book contains pretty much all the info..?
is it ok to study just one "company" book?

different practice tests (especially PAT)

also some books do a better job in explaining certain topics than other books. while other books go too much into detail
