Transcripts

Does anyone know what address we are supposed to have our transcripts sent to? On the UofA website it says,

November 1, 2012 is the deadline for two copies of official transcripts from all post-secondary education completed with current Fall/Winter registration indicated. If you did an IB or AP program, official transcripts from IB or AP must be received by November 1, 2012. Transcripts must be submitted to the UofA Registrar's Office directly from the issuing instituation(s). If post-secondary attendance was within Alberta, the Registrar's Office may be able to obtain transcripts through Apply Alberta. Check your Bear Tracks account for further information.

Does that mean we just send them to the UofA registrar's office directly. I am asking this because the UofC wants you to send the transcripts directly to the Medical School and not the registrar. Any thoughts? Thanks

If you're transcripts are from a post-secondary institution in Alberta, you don't send anything - they will do it for you. If you not, then you should probably send it to whatever adress they provide (if I remember correctly they provide one).

Thank you! I called the UME office and they said that they would get the automatically just like you said. I remember reading that, but I thought it was just for high school.
