Default Lifestyle - ENT / Urology

Hi everyone,

Been a while since i've posted, but great to be back.

I really think i would enjoy surgery as a career, but i am hesitant because of the lifestyle of a surgeon. Does anyone know of any resources for finding out the number of hours worked per week for different specialties (residents / staff surgeons). If not, can someone describe / contrast the lifestyles of ENT and Urology (which are supposed to be fairly confortable) with with Gen surg (which isn't). I'm just trying to get a feel for which surgical specialties have manageable lifestyles.

I know the typical response from a surgeon or surgical resident is that if you love what you do, the lifestyle doesn't matter, but my take is that no matter how much you love your job, how can you really be happy if you don't get to see your kids grow up (ya.. i know it sounds kinda sappy). Thanks for your help.
