Default do all family medicine spots get filled after 1st, 2nd iterations?

Does anyone know if they all get filled (overall, counting CMGs and IMGs) ? Or are there leftovers after that year's match ? Went to carms, but the info isn't there (for this year anyway).

My understanding is the opposite, that there are family medicine programs that do not fill. Whether that's because of the program or the applicants...who knows?

I took a peak at the the stats and it looks like your right.

First Round - 90% of the total quota filled

Second Round - 52% of the total quota filled

Now if we look at the stats again we see the majority of these unfilled positions are in FM. 81 spots in FM are vacant to be exact.

As we all know there are many more applicants than spots. So does the presence of vacant positions indicate that many IMGs are considered unqualified for spots? I found this an intriguing finding...
