interview notices

So i recieved my interview notice today, and was extremely happy to find out that i had passed. However, i had that (supposedly) NO ONE failed the interview this year. A buddy phoned the admissons person and asked how many people had 'failed', and what the final number was. She told him that roughly 150 ppl (in and out of prov) were interviewed, and 130 passed. So only 20 people failed....is that normal? Would the bulk of that be in or out of prov? Is there anyway to find out?
