Waitlist speculation

Has anyone been told in their email that they are waitlisted? In mine it just said "not been chosen for an initial offer of admission".

I was waitlisted at #26 (no chance). It was mentionned in my email, and there was a letter attached telling me my ranking.

I wouldn't lose all hope just yet! The wait list went to 26 last year so you may just make it!

I emailed NOSM. 83 on the ranked wait list. The email we received means reserved wait list.

Sad. But at least I can stop torturing myself and focus on next year.

Wayward Son, I'm surprised (and sympathetic) for you. I truly expected you to get in based on your position on the waitlist last year.

Oh well. The same thing happened to someone else the year before. High on the ranked-wait list 2 years ago to reserve wait list last year. Good luck next year. I will have to look at my options and see if future applications are a part of that.
