Question family physician residency pathway

hello doctors ,,
i am IMG , and i am prepare for MCCEE ,,

i want to ask about the requirement to get resident in family physician ,,
i heard that Manitoba require a :
MCCEE
TOEFEL
6 months training in a hospital in Canada , America , South Africa or Australia
and during the residency you can apply for the MCCQE 1 , and MCCQE2

IS that correct or no ..PLEASE i need more information about this

Are you a Canadian citizen? You need to be a citizen or permanent resident first. Then you need to apply for one of the very few IMG positions that exist every year, which are highly competitive and you are unlikely to get. If you have residency / post-graduate training in family medicine from the US,UK,Australia and I think South Africa, then you can get licensed in Canada without too much difficulty.
