Hey everyone,
I'll try to illustrate my question by a little story: A med student from city ''X'', can't stay in that city anymore. For a reason or an other, that student really want to(and needs to) move to city ''Y'' to do his 2 years or clerckship. Since, clerckship, within a province, is supposed to be approx the same, he thinks it would be ok. From an administrative point of view, it could be difficult but have u heard that this could be possible? thanks |

Why don't you just talk to your UGME office instead of posting here?

Any transfer from one school to another is likely to be granted only under exceptional circumstances. Different schools have different clerkship schedules and dates, so I'd say it's certainly incorrect to regard programs within a province as at all equivalent in timing or structure.

Because If I have some examples of the same story, or get to know some tricks, it could help when i'll contact the person...!

I doubt there are any "tricks".. yes, I have heard of people transferring during medical school for extenuating circumstances, but everyone's situation has to be dealt with on an individual basis.
