Default Which year of university?
Say I did summer research work after my 1st year. Do I put 2nd year of university as the time that I did my research in or 1st year?

I put 2nd year, because technically when I started my research, it was in May and I had finished 5.0 credits in 1st year.

What did you guys do??

Sounds fine, if room, put in brackets the months
