grad school marks

I read in a few previous posts that if you're applying as a grad student you should have at least A's in your grad courses. Does that mean an A- is or isn't okay? Any grads who got interviews with an A- please post!

To my knowledge, an A- isn't good enough. A friend of mine had an A- and an A for their grad courses, and they were not asked to submit a grad package. She called to confirm, and I believe hey mentioned that the average of: A and A- is not an A, so rejected. If you have an A-, I think you will need an A+ in another grad course to offset it and give u the A average.

and this is for research based right? Ottawa does not take course based into consideration or does it?

So now my question continues.

Do they look at you twice as a grad? or only as a grad if you don't make the undergrad cutoff.

I have a 3.9 from undergrad. Do I need that A+?
