Evaluation techniques at Mac

Hi everyone. I would like to know how Mac evaluates its students. For a program that is so focused on self-directed, problem-based learning, where does the evaluation component fit in? I have read what posters have said in the past re. self-evaluation and group evaluation, but what about tests, quizzes, exams to test your knowledge and skills?

How and when do these evaluations occur?
