Hi there,
Does anyone know when first year med students usually finish end-of-the-year exams? My friend is getting married on May 1st (on a resort) and I was wondering if it's possible for me to go or if I should tell her I can't right now. Also, my sister is getting married in Toronto in October. I'm her Maid of Honor and was wondering how easy it is to get time off for things like this?

Hi Margaret

This year the Med 1 class finished their last exam (Genetics, Embryology & Reproduction) on May 30th. If you would like to examine the schedule of last year’s Med 1 class you can look under the “curriculum” heading in the Medix website. Although not all of the dates will be the same it will still give you an idea of how busy you will be next year.
