I was just wondering what Dalhousie does if u have more than a full courseload.
I have 5.5 courses this year. Do they just take the GPA of all the courses and then just average it with my other year?
...Or does this year end up weighing more than the other year....Or do they just ignore that 0.5 course I am over?

<title>Reference Checks</title>
<pagetext>Does anybody know if your EC references are actually contacted? Now that I have an interview date, I figure that I should let them know I applied. However, are they really going to call my buddy to ask him if I really play hockey with him on Sunday nights?
If they don't usually check them, I was thinking of not letting them know to save myself the embarassment of informing them later on that I was rejected.
Any opinions or previous experience?
