Did you guys just list it under employment? I was paid for most of it and tutored about 5 hours per week during the school year. I don't have someone to verify it though, unless they will accept one of the people I tutored for that.

Also, as for volunteer tutoring, could I put that under extracurricular?

Thanks.

Also,

If you held the same job for more than one summer (ie student researcher in the summer after 1st year, 2nd year, and 3rd year. Did you list that as one entry with the time period being (0510-0810), (0511-0811), and (0512-0912)? Or would you enter it as 3 separate jobs?

Also, I worked part-time in the lab in second year, about 5 hours per week, should I put this as something separate from the summer work because it asks for hours per week and 5 is pretty different than 40?

This is all for the Dal application btw.

I put it under employment, since it was not volunteering or an extracurricular. I applied for it, and I will be paid.

Also, do not split it up. Let them know that it was during the academic year, and keep it as a single entry.

Edit: This was for OMSAS, I am not familiar with Dal at all (I missed the MCAT cutoff date) Put this in the Dal subforum for a better response

I'm filling out my omsas application as well, so I will keep that in mind! Thanks, and I'll post in the Dal subforum for this question. Thanks again.
