Hello,

Does anyone know somebody who had to attend a 2nd interview at Montreal? If so, how different was it from the first set of interviews?

Thank you

Sebastien C.

I was called for a second interview last year — round 2 consists of an individual interview that is similar to the first one you had (ie, two-on-one). According to the med admissions coordinator (Michelle Paumier), round 2 is granted when the first set of interviewers don't do their job in terms of addressing all required questions.

The two women interviewing me tried to shake me up by implying that I had botched my first interview and that they were granting me a second chance interview. What I'm trying to say is that it's the luck of the draw who you get as interviewers...just pray that's it's not at 8:00 AM! Interviews at that time should be illegal!!

Hope this helps,
Ibiza

Hi Seb,

Have you been granted a 2nd interview? If so, on which date? Has anyone else been given a 2nd interview?

KrystiS; Having a second interview is not necessarily a good thing. Other reasons why they give a second interview:

A) one of the interviewers liked you and the other didn't
B) It's really coming down to you and another candidate

I didn't have a second interview (my sister neither) and we both got in. However, my brother got a second interview and he got in too. It's variable.
