Medical Biochemistry, anyone?

Just wanted to see if anyone else here was interested in, or is already in, this program. I'm leaning towards it - at first I was thinking genetics, but my real interest is metabolics/biochemical genetics, and I think I'd enjoy having the lab component as well.

Hey japlanet ! I'm a 2nd year canadian medical student and I'm also interested in medical biochemistry. I will certainly do an elective next year. Have you done one so far ? I didn't see a lot of the clinical portion but I was told that it can be very variable ! Medical biochemistry looks like a diverse and interesting career.
