Rant thread for the non-closure at Windsor and London! Not sure about what its like up in London (probably worse), but in Windsor everyone's getting stuck in the roads, people are crashing into one another, it's a big disaster. Most profs even cancelled their classes (except for mine, 2:30-5:20, who also happens to be my research supervisor :mad: )! What's worse is that there are people who commute from Chatham, Leamington, etc.

Even with Windsor calling a state of emergency? It's ridiculous because there's hardly any snow here and UTSC closed.

Yep! Every educational system is closed except UWindsor... Maybe you'll feel the storm in a few hrs??

Can I rant if I'm not a Windsorite/Londoner? I know we don't have as much snow as you guys, but it took me 2 hours this morning for a car ride that normally only takes 30 minutes.

Not quite, UWO is truckin along there too...no snow day for us :(

We're (U of T St.George/downtown) still open today as well.

Is uwindsor the school that gets ranked last every year in university rankings? Maybe it's a good thing the school is staying open even today. lol

Guelph was closed! Funny we were closed though, not much snow until midday. I think it was mainly because a bunch of midterms were canceled ahead of time. Oh well, not complaining! Felt bad for the UofT St. George people... with Mississauga and Scarborough campuses closed.

Eh! I am from Windsor as well :)

I had a midterm and tutorial cancelled yesterday, but still attended the one class that was not cancelled :(
