hi,
i'm one of the unfortunate souls still waiting to hear anything from u of t. i'm an oop student. my marks and mcat are both good(although not exceptional) and i have quite a bit of research and volunteer experience. i called the admissions office last week to inquire about the status of my file and was informed that invitations will be sent out throughout april. hopefully i'll hear something this week. good luck to everyone still waiting and congrats to those of you who have already been invites...even though i secretly am cursing your names each day...just kidding of course!

Does anyone know how many people are interviewed at toronto? I have heard many different numbers from various sources. How many do they interview and how many offers of acceptance are sent out? I have heard rumors about the government adding another 40 seats across the province. Does anyone have any idea how many will go to Toronto??
Thanks for all your help.
Good luck to all.

Why concern yourself with such things that are clearly beyond your control? I mean if you show up to the interview, do the best job that you can, you really have done everything possible to gain admission. If there were 400 interviews versus 600, would it really matter in terms of your interview performance?

However, since you asked, here is what I have seen floating around message boards:

About 400 interviews for about 200 acceptances, including those that will reject. Of course, if people from the first couple of batches have been poor, then I imgaine that more people will be interviewed in the third batch.

The extra seas you speak of may well include some openings at the UFT, but those won't come into play until about mid july-August, so it really only affected those on a waiting list.

Rather than worry about things that you can't control, why not worry about things that you can, or if you have already given your interview, then just kick back and relax.
