Rumour: Increased number of spots in Ottawa

Good morning everyone...I heard rumour (and at this point it is only that...rumour) that there will be additional Francophone and Anglophone spots available, on top of the 138 we've heard about, for University of Ottawa's med program this year. Can any current students or faculty on the admissions committee confirm or reject this?

I haven't heard of anymore than the 138, which in itself is 16 more than this year (2001).

I heard the same rumor. From a faculty member. But they won't know untill sometime in the mid summer.

They said it would depend on how much extra funding they got. I don`t think they really know.
