ohh, and by bias i should clarify.
I mean in terms of things like reference letters, etc.,
eg. getting a doctor to provide a reference,
or instead from your neighbour who you might've known your whole life?

I'm sure there's some sort of bias involved with every school's review of applications. But why are you singling out Ottawa?
