View Full Version : Shall we be redundant? Verifiers
Who is actually putting the number twice?
Once in the general description, and once in the details.

What would be the rationale for putting it in the general description when there is a specific box for it on the details? Now I'm wondering if I should have put it in both haha...

the only reason I am, is because I saw an example of it somewhere under their help menu, but now I've lost it...so I am in two minds. b/c really what IS the purpose of doing it twice?
EDIT:
FOund it!! IF you go under add verifiers, it opens up a new box...click on the question mark on the top right hand side of the screen, and it gives you an example with the verifier no in brackets in the description.

Ah, you're right!
Maybe its so schools who don't look at the detailed autobiographical sketch still see verifiers?
Gah, so many little details to get wrong...:o

I only put it once, in the specific verifier box. We're given such a limited number of characters to describe everything, I don't want to waste any by adding extra numbers when there is an allotted space for verifiers. That's my reasoning anyways...
I bet that after looking at this poll, someone on here will email OMSAS.

Yes I also only put it once... in the specific section listed. I believe the reference to brackets are that you need to specify verifiers for specific activities in your school questions/essay
