Has anyone received notification about end of March or early April interviews?

Interviews being TODAY (friday afternoon... I have mine on Sunday morning)... I'm not sure when the other dates are yet.

The next interview weekend (after this one) is supposed to be Mar. 22-25....

I have yet to hear anything. Most of my friends are in the same boat. I am not even sure if they have sent out rejection letters.

My friend got an interview on March 24th. She received her notice on March 1st.

hello,
it seems that u of t is sending out interview invites by e-mail about a week before the interview date, followed by a letter in the mail to confirm.
regarding grad applicants, some have already been interviewed, during the weekend of march 1-3..

Some guy on the other board claimed he got a 3.96 and was rejected by U of T. But, he got an interview from Mac. Pretty surprising, I'd say.

my GPA was very close to that (3.93). for the life of me I don't know what more I can do. anyways, good luck to the rest of you.

Have all the rejections been sent out, or are they coming out in batches?

Also, regarding their sending out of emails only one week in advance - is this confirmed, or hearsay?

yah...the email notification seems to be adding on to the stress. i think they are just trying it out, i doubt they'll do it for everyone (200 emails seems like extra work). i was wondering too whether they keep applications that are on the edge of legitmacy. But with the two that we heard of, 3.96 and 3.93, it appears that as soon as they are ready to reject you...they feel no ways.

Hi there,

If the process is similar to that of last year then the rejections will be sent out in batches, as the batches of applications are reviewed. Supposedly, the applications are randomly divided into groups and assessed from there. On that, I have heard from the MD/PhD office that the MD office is still reviewing applications.
