Is this a good option for a backup to reapply to medicine, or would you be better off going for a traditional MSc program?

It is a matter of appreciation. If not accepted into med school upon graduation, I will go the OT route, as this leads directly to professional recognition and a career. I will continue to apply to medicine, but this is my Plan B.
