Hi everyone,

I am in the midst of applying for a radiology elective at Dalhousie and I realize I don't know anything about that particular program other than it's rated as being very good. I was wondering if anybody has any experiences/suggestions that they could share regarding dal rads? What Halifax hospital would be the best choice for maximum exposure?

Thanks

:)

Ask me again in Nov, since I'm doing the same elective there in Oct. I've heard from everyone that it is one of the strongest radiology programs in the country. The residents are really happy, they only have 1 in 7 call in the upper years. I'm really looking forward to checking it out.

Oh, and apply early. I applied in Jan for an Oct elective. A lot of people I know are having trobug securing Dal electives.

Sorry can't be of more help.

Hi There,
I'm a Dal Med III...I can't really comment on radiology itself because I haven't spent any time there other than to get reports, but the main department is at the Halifax Infirmary (part of the QEII).
