Advice Needed

Hi,

I was wondering if it was possible to complete an internal medicine residency in canada (3 years) and then complete a fellowship in the US (card, GI, etc.)?

Has this been done? If so, was it difficult to get a fellowship?

This can definitely be done. Not being an Internal Medicine guy, I don't know how difficult it is. Anecdotally, I know of medicine residents from UBC doing US fellowships; one of my senior residents at UBC when I was a med student went on to do a Cardiology fellowship in California.
