Medical School applications?

I have still one more year to go before i start applying for med schools so i thought that i would my question here regarding the applications. When you apply to school in Ontario and other provinces, do you have to fill out separate application s for each school and separate essays or is only done on OMSAS...? and is it the same for US schools too?

Do a search. You can find lots of stuff.

In short, OMSAS for 6 Ontario schools, but separate essays/supplementary stuff for each. Other provicnes, separate application for each school. US schools, use AMCAS, but I didn't apply so not sure of details.

One further comment - everything for Ontario schools is submitted to OMSAS. The school-specific stuff is filled out in the common online system.

OMSAS web site, google it. Then down load the pdf manual. Read it. It contains all the good stuff you are asking about plus more.
