Hey folks,

I'm interested in applying to UK (preferred) and irish schools. I am in fourth year doing majors in bio and chem. my gpa is 3.7 and have 32R MCAT. I dont know where to start? I have canadian citizenship only. do I apply to UCAS? I 've been browsing the threads but couldnt pin point it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

For medical schools in Northern Ireland, England, Wales, or Scotland, you must apply through UCAS but you can only apply to a limited number of schools (4 I believe). You've missed the cutoff date this year. I cannot speak for non-Northern Irish schools but Canadians generally apply through the Atlantic Bridge program.

Your GPA and MCAT should make you a competitive candidate at Canadian and American schools as long as you have good extrcurricular stuff too. Good luck.

rpcattrall, as much as you want to sell your carribean schools (cos they probably send you cheques), i really think its my VERY LAST RESORT. i mean after grad school that is. so please dont add carribean school discussions to this thread.
