I enjoyed that link - and every word of it is true - even here in BC. Rather a sad situation if you ask me when we've got so many Canadians who REALLY WANT TO STAY IN CANADA yet are being turned away. Not only do we want to stay, but we are willing to give up 6-10 years of our lives and countless dollars to do it..... and we are still being turned away! What the Hell is going on with our healthcare system?

hmm, what is going with our health care system? It gives me flashbacks to answering the McMaster sketch question..."how has your understanding of health care issues in Canada influenced your choice of career?"
I'm sure a lot of us could spill out some thoughts on the topic... but it is sad to see that we have such doctor shortages, with so many eager to help. But don't fear, our system is under review and is looking to be remodelled, so soon all of our issues will disappear... we could only hope.
