Hello,
I was wondering if someone on this board could help me sort out some of the differences/similarities between ENT and plastics.
If one had an interest in say, craniofacial reconstruction, what would be the pros and cons of going at it from on ENT vs plastics?
I think I could have an interest in craniofacial surgeries. There are also procedures in ENT that I find interesting...like cochlear implants, ear reconstruction. There are some things in plastics other than craniofacial that I would find interesting too, like hand reconstruction. But there are things in both I dont`think would be intersting...ear tubes for ENT for example and breast implants for plastics for example.
What are the pros and cons of these 2 specialties? What are the lifestyles like? (I never in a million years would have thought I would even be considering plastics, but it just seems interesting)
