now if you're a medical specialist working in a hospital it's a different story (if you can stand 4-8 yrs more school...i know i can't @@). however if you're a GP with a private clinic, it's no more lucrative (in fact in many cases a lot less) than being a general dentist with your own clinic. Just a consideration for those debating medicine vs. dentistry for the $$ factor.
but then...we know that most people consider medicine (or dent) because they love helping people, dont we?? :)
