Clinical Investigator Program

Hey everyone,

A question for all premeds and med students who want to do research as well as practice... Anyone thought about doing a Clinician Investigator Program near the end of a residency as an alternative to doing an MD/PhD or MD/MSc? Just interested in knowing who had thought about that because it seems like an alternative to doing both degrees at once.
