What are your thoughts on Chinese medicine in your career?

Hey guys,

Went to the chinese medicine doctor today to look at some lingering conditions I have. My dad also recently had really good results with the chinese medicine doc when none of the drugs our family doctors gave him seemed to be helping with his vertigo. Just wanna take a poll of people's thoughts here. How many of you guys are interested in learning about chinese medicine somewhere down the road and hopefully be able to incorporate some elements into your practice?

Just getting ready for my move to Toronto to begin four hard (and exciting) years at UT med. Two things I was told to look into, but with my student budget and all, was hoping for a piece of advice from some of ya who's been there longer already.

Number 1, will there be much of a need for a laptop during my school years? I'm thinking of any out of city training, hospital training, etc, any scenerio I can figure. Otherwise, I'll lug my big PC there to save the money. Seems like a good one to last several years would be at least $1700...

Second, I know a lot of people use a palm pilot to study drugs, notes, dictionary, etc. Any advice on what I should look for?

Thanks, guys, and any comment will help, really. I wonder if UT has any programs to get laptops for cheaper prices...
