OK, so first of all, correct me if I'm wrong, but when western is determining first round acceptances and wait list rankings, they use a 50% interview, 25% GPA, and 25% MCAT score right?
I'm confused about how exactly the 25% GPA and 25% MCAT scores are calculated.
Since everyone has at least a 3.7, does that mean that if you have exactly a 3.7 that you get 0 out of 25%? Or do you get say, 20 out of 25% if you get a 3.7, in which case GPA and MCAT aren't really going to make that much of a difference because everyones' scores will be so close.
And for the MCAT portion, is it true that this only includes your writing sample and verbal reasoning scores?
