I have never applied to Queen's or any other Ontario med schools. Therefore I believe I need quite some helpful input from all you generous people who have goen through or are going through the process. Aside from the details provided on the Queen's med admissions website, I'd like to know of what they look at to determine admission. Do they consider the science prerequisites' average or only the GPA for everything combined? What do they do with graduate courses completed as part of my master's degree? My MCAT scores are 8,12,12,R; is that competitive for Queen's? What is their interviewing format like?

Perhaps more questions to come but for now, I'll wait for your helpful words.

You need a 10 in VR ... that's the big qualifying factor for Queen's. Check out the Application Booklet you can find at www.ouac.on.ca/omsas/ (http://www.ouac.on.ca/omsas/) which gives the requirements for 2002 applicants. I think it's fair to say little will change for 2003.
